Bias? What bias? No bias here, no no no.
I don't know a single state that will issue a permit without running a background check,

There are quite a few states that recognize Michigan CPLs already. Great states like California and Illinois however do not.
Doing this gon be opening a can of worms lol

What do people use to trim out spots for guns and ammo and stuff? Also...do u trim all the way thru the foam till the gun is resting on the inside of the case and just held in place by the cut out?

@popo8 I trim the middle layer, so you should have a egg foam thing above and below the cutout piece. On my first case that I got for my AR setup, I traced the gun with chalk then plucked blocks out. Not the best looking but I wasn't thinking.
For my bolt gun, I traced it again, but used my knife and slowly cut the foam. If you go slow with a sharp knife you can get it quite nice.
I have read, but not tried, that after you cut it, you can spray with plastidip or similar to "harden" up the outlines. Personally have not had any issues that would make me wanna do that
I have a pelican and another similar to pelican. The main layer is cut into squares and about two inches deep. Under that, another layer of solid foam that's about another 2 inches. I used a plastic butter knife and cut around each gun. One case has them flat and the other has them up and down.
I like the up and down a bit more.

That's the other case before I finished it up. It has twonsubcompact now in the middle.
Thanks fellas... i guess i meed to see if my lower foam is layered or not. If not, ill have to see if I can figure something out... like maybe a thin carpet under the bottom foam which i can then cut all the way thru.
My biggest issue is my case is on the floor and as stupid as it sounds... i cant get down to it... im like a very old senior.
