U been smoking reefer?
LOL. I have to do this every year to see if there is any damage caused from my diabetes.
Spent a hour having bright lights flashed in eyes and having them poked. And got to go back and have it done again in February. To check some scar tissue in left eye.
Man, worst part of the eye checkups is that glaucoma test. Hate that puff of air... But hey, welcome to glasses! I've been near-sighted and blind as shit since the 3rd grade.
On another note, after 2 ridiculously long days of packing, moving, and unpacking, we've got our new place and it is awesome! Still have some more unpacking to do and a few more things to get moved into the new place before we're done, but I'd say we're about 60% finished or so, maybe a little more. Started moving at 10 AM, ended up having to carry every single heavy item up the stairs myself with rotating help, despite getting 3 friends who I've helped repeatedly in the past come over to help me out. 2 of them basically decided to sit on their asses unless I told them to do something, but the 3rd proved how good of a friend he really is when he stayed over until 3 AM Saturday to help us finish building both new desks. My lower back and heels are in plenty of pain, but the kitchen is finished and stocked, laundry room is good to go, living room is about 95% done, master bedroom is about 50% done, master bathroom is maybe 50% done, guest bathroom just needs a shower curtain, and then I have to figure out where to put all my Hot Wheels and models I've been collecting lol. Oh, and I need to get my grill moved over here and put out on the patio/balcony. The garage is awesome, can't wait to get a workbench in there and some tools. Plenty of space to fit both cars, open our doors no problem, and still have room for a workbench setup at the back of the garage. :D
My eye sight isn't that bad at all. The glasses are a very mild correction.
And sounds like a busy weekend lol
Lol yeah, if you can get by with reading glasses, your eyes are still almost as good as perfect. The lines on the palm of my hand get blurry about 8 or so inches from my face without my glasses, if that gives you any idea how near-sighted I am.
And yes, very very busy lol. Hopefully we can get 100% done by Wednesday and then just relax through the holiday weekend.
Thank you  I think I still have a gas fume issue though lol. Last night went and filled up my tank before the freeze, which btw has it's own cool story. The pump was jacked up and counting slow as crap and kept pausing intermittently, so I just got back in the car to wait it out. Pump popped, so I looked back and it said 3.5 gallons. I think wth, I needed a good 11 gallons or so to fill up. Hold the pump securely in place and locked it again and it popped immediately. The pump read out only 3.7 gallons, but I keyed on the car and the gauge went right up to full. So I got a full tank for like $12 :D So I thanked the car gods and tore out of there in a hurry lol. Put the car back in the garage and about an hour later was smelling some gas fumes all the way at the top of the stairwell. Had to go down and crack the garage door to vent it out for a while to get the fumes out of the apartment. Which reminds me, I need to check the weatherstripping on the door down there leading in to see if it needs replacing...
