Do you happen to have a pic of your corvette waterpump? I'll go see if I have a match but I'll bet I put the corvette one on the Monte. If so, my dad just changed the one on his 93 vette as a preventative measure when he changed his opti. Its got 60k original miles (I think)

The pic @Ryan Stout posted looks like the correct pump for the Vette, the piping's different than the F-Body pumps:

At least while I'm swapping the pump on the vette, it'll be the perfect time to make one of those water shields that rdx posted about a while back. I wonder if this hasn't been going on for some time and maybe that's the hot idle surging cause as it bleeds all over the opti...
