BACON BITES!

Well apparently seems it was a misunderstanding and i was under the wrong impression, but with all that has been said (other convos) it would be easy to think said person is serious and then it appears that said ltx representative was laughing at the douchebaggery at hand and was just the straw to break the camels back on top of the fact im under a ton of stress with work and family issues. The end result was a verbal explosion here to just rant where noone really needed to know the full context of said convo it was just a way to express and vocalize my irritation. Said post is irrelevant now that ive slept. Im sure no one on the site has been extremely pissed and said/wrote/typed something they might not have neccesarily meant.

Did i get mad? Yup

Did i blow up? Yup

Did i make an ass of myself? Definetly

Was it all called for? Probably not

But at the time it felt good to express myself and get the anger off my chest. If anyone has never said one uncalled for thing in anger for one they are a liar and two then you can judge me for blowing up and making an ass of myself. Until then dont try to rationalize it because it wont work. Just take it as it was meant just a pissed off stressed out rant over a misunderstanding.

I would like to clarify.. I was laughing at it.. I did think, and still think it is funny, and I thought you of all people would know that Im aware of your side also, and that we had a discussion of how the turbo stuff was a joke. SO YES.. I thought it was funny.

Just an observation... your popping off quick alot lately.. if you need to talk, we are all here.. either as a community, or as individuals. Will you get your balls busted in the future...SURE... and so will I , and so will GROH...etc... etc.. etc. Its what we do... its part of living life light hearted.

I myself have popped off at several people... it happens... but step outside and make sure its what you really mean to do, and that you are assessing what was said right before you do. Thats all.

I sure wouldn't fault anyone for blowing up over something. You add the other issues you are working through, then throw the internet on top of it and it's understandable. You can't be sure people's tone/context/seriousness over the internet or email or text. It is always up to your interpretation.

The part that makes you the bad guy, is taking someone poking you about your vehicle and turning that in "f*ck the Shootout." It takes one new person joining here and reading a single post from someone who has ALMOST 5000 posts, and placing judgement on the Shootout. Now he tells two buddies that were planning on coming with him, and immediately we have lost 3 potentially new supporters.

It is little things like this, that made me delete my account on "the other site" within a week of creating it. I loved my LS1, and didn't get to do much related as far as a forum or LSX events, because I met all the douchebags first.

Your bullet has been fired and can't be taken back. Now this will serve as my online blow up for the week. Rant over.

this is one of the problems the internet has, you can never fully know the context of what is being said...i know, i have been a few times on this board when people have made comments to me and i have gone straight off the deep end...it has/will happen to EVERYone on a car forum. for the most part, the majority of members here treat each other like family, but sometimes comments just come at the wrong time.

To lighten things up a bit. Its funny how my ocd has taken a simple motor swap and mild upgrade into full blown project/ show off mode. Did a wire tuck and reroute today and never intended to when I walked out but it looks a million times better now and the electrical tape isn't old and busted anymore and should protect better. She now ever closer to the big first drive. Sorry for bragging but this is a culmination of 4 yrs of anticipation and waiting for the right body and motor combo. Oh and on a side note I just applied for a job doing what I do now but getting twice the salary. Only downside is its a 100 mile commute round trip but I can usually make the trip one way in 35-40 mins in good weather and traffic. Living a quarter mile from the interstate exchange is really convenient.

That looks super clean! Great work man! I dread the day I drop the engine out of mine because my OCD is going to go crazy, too. It'll take me forever to get it back in from cleaning everything lol.

Ya u can see I have repainted the bay and on and on but its night and day different. So if the before pic is the "virgin" engine bay shot, what is the after? Jenna Jameson? Pam Anderson? Dolly Parton because that blower is the tits now...ohhhh Lol
