Have you been to any PPX forums to see if there are any issues owners are complaining about? I sure wish I would've done that before buying my PT145...
As of now, have not come across any negative issues that would cause me to run. So far people complain that's its heavy, ugly and big. Since its a learning/training, range gun and can never be CC for me, its fine. It also is no mech safety but again, never gonna be carried so racking one in prior to shooting is fine. And the big issue is that its a discontinued gun from Walther, so we shall see.

Already purchased, if it shoots horrid, well I have thirty days till I can fill out forms to get another.
Guy gets one or two blocks and all of a sudden the kool aid takes ahold.
Damn son.
Heading to the range for qualifications this afternoon. Lets see how I do.
I need somewhere to shoot in the wide open countryside. All outside ranges I go to frown upon firing more than one round per second.
Depends on what you are shooting, some of it looses its novelty some of it doesn't.
If we are talking pistol join an IDPA club. 3 gun training will also give experience with it.
Im spoiled with private land to shoot, red neck mad minuets are mostly mandatory on gundays. There is something about seeing and hearing POUNDS of lead being thrown downrange in seconds that is pretty cool.
Used to have land to go shoot when younger. NEVER got tired of rapid fire anything.

Thoughts on buying semi bulk (~1000rd) online and or, where is a good place to get some?
S&B, Fiocchi etc, can't be steel
Just bought 2,000 rounds of "canned heat" from Georgia Arms. They are reloads, but I've never had one misfire.

Ya I got mine today, so far, just fit wise feels real nice. Ugly as sin and certainly a large gun.
Will be hitting up the local range next week I think with it. Gotta grab some decent safety glasses.
Post a pic of it.

Just a simple old Glock G23. It shoots reliably, fits me good and I just plain like it. Has never misfired and that's all I ask for.
I don't even have any damn hair.
:wheelchair: Yourg getting old
No sweat. About 3 years ago we shifted over to the rifle range for all of our qual and training. We shoot alot further with our hand guns than would be called for in real life, however if we can hit it from 100 yards... then 20 should be cake. Lol

Had a great time shooting this thing, trigger is so nice (may be just used to crappy hunting trigger pulls)
Also having a struggle forcing eyes to cooperate, shot righty tonight which is not normal for me.
Left, and I am right handed.
So moving stuff I shoot lefty and things that favor rightys, I shoot right. Sometimes get eye confusion. Tis fun lol
