The car has 130k on it and runs great. It was used once in a rally in DE in 2011- about 400 mile trip. Then gutted the inside and started installing rollcage in preparation for racing (chump/lemons) and turns out our tallest driver was too tall for this car. He is about 6'4
Tires are good- starts right up. No back window though...

I informed him of my height dilema, and he totally back peddled... here is where I leave him hang for a few days... and hopefully when he "follows up" with me, I can low ball him, because he does not want to keep it around.

The first message sounds like he doesnt want to put an effort into going too far out to sell it.
Oh, he def does not want to... its all about going to him.... but then again, the car is not street legal right now, so hauling it for people to see, is a headache... I can understand that.Quote:

That's a pretty sweet find for fitting so much of your criteria and costing so little. Also an interesting thing to note on height is that one 6'4" guy may fit in the car differently than another 6'4" guy based on upper and lower body length proportions. To explain, his driver may have had longer legs and a shorter torso (or vice versa) than you which could have caused him to not be able to fit. For a fun little proof of this, find various people of different heights and have them all sit side by side back against a wall and check who's taller at the head and who has longer legs lol. But still worth a shot in checking it out and seeing if you can fit. You can always do a little cutting and fab work to give yourself some extra room, right?
