im really not good at this "sleep" concept.....i know its not good to live on 3-4 sometimes 5 hours of sleep each night

Nice glass of scotch will get you to sleep. My wife has insomnia sometimes. She opens a beer. Goes to bed. Watches hgtv and drinks it then drifts off.
I sleep like a bear. Soon as my head hits the pillow Im out. My wife will be trying to talk to me sometimes. And Im out before she finishes her story. lol

I used to have that same problem, million ideas running through my head and insomnia to boot. I found focusing on one menial task for a while helps sleep set in, like playing solitaire, watching a TV show, or something repetitive. Also, if you're into techno, that helps me calm my mind, dump if it'd work for you. Repetitive rhythms in drum and bass and trance generally stop my mind running 100mph and let me clear my head.
