Gotta grommet the fuel line pass throughs, mount the fuel reg properly, and then tackle trans dipstick. And torque converter bolts :lol:

Felt enthusiastic so popped in a hole, grommet-ed it and fed the knock sensor/starter led through instead of running em up and over.

Dash just sucked, but my biggest concern was the dash pad, the rest of it could break and I wouldn't give a fuck
Not breaking a dash pad when removing is cause for celebration. I was lucky enough to do the same.

Basically today was getting the engine harness organized and pulled through firewall. Aside from a few grounds, the engine could run as is now. Pulled the MAF plug for good from the harness. Got to order up stuff for the gauges, then put the dash back together, and then the BLS HID mayhem of a harness...

Another successful day with the ole LT1.
Preliminary coolant bleed, aux power for now cause god knows what loose hot leads are laying around in the car. Swallowed a few gallons, didn't leak, cylinders are all full prob

-Drop trans pan, check/edit dipstick length
-Wire up the pumps/fans/headlights to relay board
-Run new switch panel and gauges
-Mount PCM to firewall
-Reassemble dash
-Add fresh gas
-Vroom?

Dumb rookie mistake. Of the many lessons this never ending saga has taught me, never assume any one else knows what their doing.

Reading low and it being high is a better combo than reading high and being low. Pretty sure it caused a few of my WOT over rev issues. And yes, lokar.
