So I got in trouble for having the Flyer For The FALLEN HEROES car show in North Coventry . This year it was for Officer Fox...who lost his life in the Line of Duty. TWO WEEKS ago, we were all yelled at for displaying NON POLICE related things. I figured this was POLICE RELATED.
CHIEF: "hey , uh Larry, did you get my memo a few weeks ago about not hanging things up?"
I said , yes I did.... however your email said, we could not hang anything up that was not POLICE RELATED. THAT is the fallen Officers car show announcement to raise money for the family of Officer fox and others.
He said, "it is..?" looked at it, then said, "I don't want it up there, isn't it hanging somewhere else?"
I said it was, but it got taken down, so I hung up police material on my own station.
he said, "take it down, and whose license plate is that?"
I said it was the one from my cruiser, it was laying in the garage and I thought that is not a good place to leave an MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT tag lay around, so I grabbed it and brought it in here for safe keeping.
He said, "well call Penn dot and see what it takes to send back."
I said, why don't you just keep it for the next car, since they do not expire...
He said, "no need, I get new ones for free."
I explained that was no reason to get another one when we already have one....
again, I was told "get rid of it."
Finally he said, "um you need to lean in to that razor a little bit more" I said, its only because I go on vacation, I did not think it was that big of a deal. In fact, I figured I sit in the office, what would it hurt."
He said, "oh, you go on vacation?"
I said yes, and handed him , his approval paperwork...THAT HE COMPLETED!
What a douche... Is he sitting in his office snorting cocaine or something? Sounds like he forgets everything he does and has to come bug you just for shits and giggles.
I just read your problem with a PD thread. I see where you mentioned not shaving on may 4th and today he says something about it. I'm guessing he's keeping tabs on what you post. You know, instead of protecting and serving.
