I personally am very excited about this new technology and hope it becomes more mainstream. Imagine this stuff on your roof shingles -- the water, snow, ice, etc just sliding magically off your roof. On car windshields - no more need for windshield wipers. On metal infrastructure - no more worries about rust.

Unfortunately right now it creats a dull/hazy finish to whatever you paint it on so while you could paint it onto our cars, it'd have a horrible finish with no reflection to it.

Yeah, may not be the best thing for the paint, but I can certainly see it as a God-send for keeping an engine bay clean. Any leaking/seeping fluids would just roll right off and it'd never look dirty lol.

I know its not as obscure but when I went to order my new piston rings. I googled the part number from SRP and Sears.com was the first seller listed. It's only online and you wont find them in stores. Everything drop ships from the original mfg or another affiliate company.

Alrighty, found there's a Brakes Plus right down the street from me that'll do a wheel alignment for $58. Gonna rush home from work today to get the car over to them before they close. Then just gotta decide what I'm gonna do about replacing the front tires...
