That's not off topic. I thought the stock fpr is a 1:1 reference?

Hmm I thought it went both ways. Meaning at zero pressure it had 45psi, at -10psi intake vacuum it had 35psi, and at 10psi intake pressure it would have 55psi.
I may be wrong... But i thought there was a reason i upgraded to an adjustable "boost ref" fpr.
I dont claim to know for sure... Just tgrowin out the lil i do know in hopes it helps

To be honest the best knowledge base on dfi is turbobuick.com . They have been using it on boosted cars for years. Lots of good guys there that know their stuff. While I do a lot of na stuff and nitrous, and also run 60# injectors, your best bet is to go right to the guys that run dfi with boost. Thats the crowd that has been there and done that.
Ya know I never thought about going over there for insight, hell I'm running their tank and pickup. What do you think of my fuel pressure being high like that? What regulator do you run?
I run an aeromotive ref to my intake. I had a bitch of a time with idle as the cam I run doesn't produce much vac. I am still rich on idle but it is the best it will get.
With my fpr I adjusted to 43 with no vac and set. I honestly don't see you getting away with running the stocker in your application. You will need an adj boost ref unit.
Ok, sounds good to me. Maybe I'll get lucky and that's the reason for the higher pressure too. Thanks!
So I have an aeromotive fpr on the way. I've got a 4 day weekend coming up this weekend so I'm hoping to get it on the road. I want to start on the body soon also. I should hire some kids to strip the old paint off.... that's the part I dread most.
So is it all blowered back up now?

Yes sir. It is ready for the road as soon as I get the idle tuned. It fires right up and sounds good so hopefully I'm not too far off.
Thanks! I still can't believe it was something that simple. I know I'm going to have to address the belt at some point. If it ends up being able to make a decent amount of boost I don't think the 6 rib setup is going to cut it. I think the best option at that point is a dedicated 10 rib setup just for the blower.
It will be insured tomorrow, Tuesday it will have plates, Wednesday the new regulator will be on. While it may not be track ready, I'm hoping I can at least drive it to gateway the 17th.
I will have some better videos and some pics in a few days. Hopefully I can get some road footage. I'm eager to see what kind of boost it makes. Did the quality of the other idle clips get better?
Not on my phone.. but it could have been on a computer. Sorry.

Lol nice! Even better news, getting laid off Wednesday so I'll have lots of time to work on it!
Thinking about getting vanity plates. Any suggestions? I thought of BMBALAM (black betty). Gonna try to rip off Chris' "LTX" first though :p
I have LTX adhd.... if you wanna sell to me.. dont leave me hang.. or I bounce to the next thing.. Check out my new post.
Let me assure you, I am that type of girl.
I'm glad the fuel was the fix. I knew it was the fuel when I read your explanation of the popping randomly out both sides. I had an old K20 with ZZ3 crate in it that did the same exact thing.
Thanks man. I never would have figured that out. Ever. An all new fuel system has water in it? How?! I wish I knew what caused it.
Are we there yet....
Ive beem looking at mo mntes on line... Love them low!

I just want you to know if I ever own this one.. or any..
It will look like THIS

I finally got a good look at the stance the other day and its definitely got to come down some. I wouldn't think my setup with that heavy blower would be lighter than stock but it must be. I've always had a thing for torque thrust 2's (aka TT2 jeremy) so most likely that's what its getting with a 275 rear tire. I'm not going to go skinny in front but not full width either. Probably end up with stock width. Did you notice the big air duct in the rear quarter?
Yea. The paint I've got is a metallic black.
Plates, check

Yea "ltx" in the regular plate was already taken so i tried this one. I didn't even know we had a route 66 plate. The "ss" really stands for "sixty six" but "super sport" works too :D
