I'm sure you know this but be totally sure the pullies are aligned perfectly. Def check tension after some miles as well. I prob missed it but what exhaust are you going with?
Yeah I checked pulley alignment already a few times, I work with very large belts/pulleys every day, lol. Bob/brutespeed said baby it for a couple hours then retension belt. Going back to pacesetters, don't like how these headers fit in this particular car. Racekar probs. Car has a mufflex/MagnaFlow 3.5"

Well heads are on, guide plates look like they will work. Needs longer pushrods, atleast a 7.250 or a 7.3, gotta check again Tuesday when I get back over there

Fucking ugh. Fought us tooth and nail all day. This is the 8th time the intake is bolted down. Had to egg out the bolt holes to line up a little bit. Bolted it down for a gasket impression to check seal as per @Fastbird. Pacesetters went in with one ding to a primary on passenger side, no other issues. Rockers and pushrods in and lashed to 3/4 per ellwein. Back at it tomorrow. Hoping to finish it up then we can bring mine in garage for yankage of engine.

EDIT: well everything is buttoned up except exhaust. By deleting a.c. condenser we were able to easily slide up the hole rad/cover about 1" to clear the 8.5"/2.95" 12 rib blower stuff. Had to egg out intake holes to line up, that was a 4 hour snafu. Pacesetters really do fit decent, seems like they revised them or something, even the bolts were a nonissue. Y pipe is a little close to driveshaft loop, and if I move it anymore left to give more clearance the torque arm will hit it. I don't know why the hell mufflex ships their 3.5" exhaust with a 3" o.d. adapter end welded on, kinda screws you when installing on a 3" od y pipe. @Ltconvert got his nitto nt05's mounted up on his summer wheels, they look niiiiiiiice. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...714c0250d5.jpg 275/40/17 front 295/35/18 rears. Car was fired off tonight after a bit of fighting with the mufflex 3.5" exhaust, but wasn't too terrible. Me and @Ltconvert forgot how bad painted headers smoke on first start, had garage full of smoke. Car didn't want to start at first, running a bkr6e plug. We will see when we set it down and he puts a few miles on it

They had fitment issues on his specific car because we didn't feel like trimming k member or clearancing torque arm relocation crossmember/ds loop or rerouting oil line for procharger (p600b not self contained like p1sc, etc). Gotta remember, with this car and the stupercharger things get tight quick. They cleared everything on the previous owners car, your mileage may vary
Also, hence the rather large discount on them, he paid 600 for them with the elusive proper fitting y pipe that xs/lpp/sa doesn't send you anymore.

Most likely. Passenger side fit fine, drivers side will need either trim of k member or ding in one tube, and ls steering shaft or ding in another. Those were the main two areas of interference. Previous owner had to ding passenger side primary from hitting shock tower, but he had rubber motor mounts, osie has poly
