Lol the chief
IF you mean the chief, he has been chief for 3 + years.... And if you read the past 8 pages you will see what kinda person he is... (not positive)....
The problem is the MRI show nothing structurally wrong... that must mean there is nothing wrong with me and I am faking.... right... WRONG! but yet thats how they are treating me...
The insurance company is conflicting with themselves.. my Dr says there is no way I should be on the street where I may have to be physical... their doc says Im ok, and I can return to full duty... but he is the same doc who in previous reports wrote my injury is work related and that i have reached maximum improvement and I cant be a cop anymore.... then he says go back to work full duty, so the insurance company releases me for full duty, but is still paying for doc appointments, PT, chiropractor, pain psychologis, and an up comming MRI and injection....
I just figured an officer would believe and trust another officer. Its sad to think its not the case. I'm sorry man. Good luck on Monday, stay safe.
u would hope... but its not that way...in fact its more like a bunch of self entitled assholes who think they deserve everything and do nothimg for it.... and clicky like high school was. Of all tge Officers I work with... btwn other depts and mine... only one guy... has ever called to check up to see how im doing since i got hurt...1.

One bird in the hand is worth a whole department of assholes...
Larry, knowing how debilitating back issues can be when they really flare up, I so sincerely hope that the power that be at your PD come to their senses and do NOT put you out on the street. You're a big guy and I know you're in shape, but I also know that when a back issue rears it's head, it's impossible to get yourself up off the ground (been there done that). They're absolutely insane for putting you into any type of situation that could potentially leave you at such a disadvantage to less than stellar citizens.
The sucky part is that back issues are so hit or miss. I have a friend (on of my very few remaining military friends) who has been dealing with lower back problems almost as long as I have, and he's been diagnosed with NOTHING, because nothing shows up. But the issues are there, you can't fake shit like that. It's unfortunate that your PD doesn't give you the respect of believing there's an issue rather than listening to a PAID insurance company doctor who's being paid to put you back on duty.
I'm gonna be worrying for you while you're on duty buddy.
Thank You man... I gotta admit, Im actually very nervous about it. Im hoping the insurance company gets a copy of my actual Doctor's WORK STATUS, and changes their level of return to work status....
I dont know what Im gonna do, if Im the reason someone gets hurt...or worse.
Good luck Larry, be safe out there we will all be worrying about you.
