best 3.48 lt1 crank

looking to find a 3.48 stroke crank on a budget so price matters alot. the machine shop said they can order a crank kit with baerings for $190. is that a good deal. just doing a stock rebuild with better bearings and cc503 cam setup. Is there a good budget crank out there for me and does a remanufactured crank have to be balanced for stock internals? also am i better off finding someone with a good used crank and have it polished? Also what is a good quaility cheaper setup for my cam? and is there any brand or part number pushrod guideplates that dont have to have the heads machined and can i use my current rocker studs or which ones to buy?

Keep the stock crank, very strong piece. Get one and have it reconditioned.

Yeah, I'd just keep/get another decent stocker. Have it polished if its in very good shape, or cut if it needs cleaned up. They are better than most aftermarket cast cranks.

a friend of mine is runnin a eagle cast and it holds up to some abuse its in a 355 pretty much same build as mine just i am all forged he is not .i got a balanced rotating assembly from them for about 1800 he got his for about 1200 machinist checked balance and it went together .after ya balance all of it and redo stock stuff its cheaper to get a rotating assembly

Stocker.

Replace the rod and main bolts while you are in there with ARP only. It would be a huge mistake not to.
