All of my friends have 6 speeds so they have them of course...but I was in my uncle's drag car the other day and I saw that he had one on his auto...is this a practical thing to put on an automatic...pros? cons? I know i could brake torque it to do a burnout but would this be a better way? Thanks in advance! :D
when u power break it in a auto the rear brakes are engaged. so yes a line lock would help u save that rear brake pad and rotor wear
would it look goofy since I'm putting it on an auto?
The tranny makes absolutely NO difference. All it does is save the rear brakes from unneccesary wear.
