Third Gen Swap

Alright guys, i am hoping this is a good place to start the "build thread". I dont really consider this as a build thread just for the fact im not building anything up, just swapping over but hey, bear with me. lol.

Here is the back ground, i have a 91 Camaro, came with a tbi 305....needless to say its garbage. I bought a wrecked 97 z28 and i am currently undergoing a COMPLETE 4th gen swap. The plan is radiator, dual electric fans, lt1, trans, master cylinder, pedal assembly, steering column, rear end, full interior, etc. etc. etc. Even the seat belts are being brought over. As of right now i have just done alot of prepping and getting wiring harness ready for swap but today i was able to get the 4th gen Master cylinder and pedal assembly into the 3rd gen. Here are a few pics of the progress thus far....it will be updated everyday. I am often bored. lol. here is a somewhat of a timeline of the progress so far

Will do fastbird.....lol, just wait till she's rollin pretty and painted. I already have the paint, i am just waiting till the car is finished. I do all my own paint and body so i got it easy on savin money. lol. The plan is a metallic silver w/black majic pearl dick harrell stripes. I already have soe things tinted and painted black majic pearl already....you can see with the flash how it really reflects the pearl.

My third gen tail lights, corner markers, turn signals, and front grill painted or tinted Black Majic Pearl....

this will make another clean 3rd swap i've seen. I raced one at the shootout that was BADASS! hopefullly you can get it up and running and at the shootout next year!

keep us posted. it saves me money to watch your project instead of building my own. lol
