Got myself a Hemi Ram

2009 Big Horn Crew Cab 5.7L Hemi with a 5 speed automatic. Had it for over a month now and I gotta say I love this truck. Only complaint so far would be the crappy tires that come with the 20" rims. I had a small stone puncture one tire already... a stone... the tires are soft highway tires and will be replaced with something better when I need new ones. I only plan on a few small mods, if any, in the future. I would like to get a 2" leveling kit for the front end, and possibly get the wheels polished depending how much it costs compared to new rims. It looks decent as is, but with all the shiny chrome everywhere else, the alloy wheels just look a little out of place in person. I also kind of want to get a CAI, Diablo tuner and a cutout, but only if the warranty will be intact... Some more power is always nice, but I'll take the lifetime powertrain warranty over that anyday. Now for the pics:

Nice looking truck. It does need some chrome rims though.

Is Dodge still trying to sell the Ram name?

Thanks, that would be nice but I'm trying to keep it inexpensive and very street friendly lol.

Nice purchase and welcome to the family! I have an 06 Big Horn Quad Cab. Love it to death!! Just drove mine from Milwaukee, Wi to Houston, Tx. Towed a boat back and drove 20 hours straight thru and she didn't even break a sweat!

Yeah, they are awesome trucks. You always hear people talking about how they just look nice, but aren't built well and are prone to problems with the tranny etc. and how the Hemi is over-rated, but this truck seems to be built pretty tough (although I really haven't beat on it). Also, I'm not sure what the previous warranties were, but these new trucks offer LIFETIME powertrain warranties for as long as you own the truck... all you have to do is get it inspected (for free BTW) at the dealer at each checkpoint. No one else that I know of offers that, so really even if your tranny goes out, it will be fixed for free. Can't beat that.
