The electrical or mechanical depend on which gauges... mechanical ones are way more accurate but you don't necessarily want to run a fuel or oil line inside the cabin (pressure gauges)
Full or half sweep just depends on how you like it looking and how much range you need
With the technology that goes into the electric sending unit today the electrical full sweep will be the most accurate (this is from training I sat through with Autometer engineers). In addition the electric versions are safer since you don't have the risk associated with running lines inside the cabin (ie. mech oil pressure gauge).Quote:
