Rotor and pad question
Im just wondering if you guys are using drilled or slotted rotors? Im going to upgrade my brakes eventually, and dont want to do a c5 or ls1 swap just yet. Also what pads are you guys using? Hawk, ebc, other? And i hate brake dust so what guys dont have to clean their wheels constantly? haha

drilled and slotted fronts w/napa ceramix pads, rear slotted rotors with same pads. no dust issues at all.

Thanks for the input, im not lazy when it comes to detailing my car, but damn brake dust ruins the nicest set of wheels. How much did that set up run you? or was that just a suggestion?
-
was about $600 for all four corners..stops like a champ too!
-
Thanks a bunch man, ill probably be going with that setup as well.
-
I had EBC Green Stuff on my formula....hated the pads! They puke dust each time!
-
rotorwork drilled/slotted with hps pads
-
if you want low dust go ceramic. but... i would do the ls1 swap if you are buying parts for your lt brakes, why not spend the $$ on the bigger brakes while your at it.

I have had great luck with PowerSlot rotors and NAPA pads. I've also used and liked Hawk.
NAPA Ceramix are hard to beat.

dont mean to hi-jack the thread but Greg how do you like your Rotowork rotors I'm thinking bout ordering a set but i've heard they like to crack around the drilled holes......
