Nooo... its not an ltx car.
A friend of mine was planning on scrapping her sons old car cause they cant get it to pass inspection.
According to her, the mods done by the previous owner are what is holding it back from passing.
Its a clean 96 eclipse, non turbo...
Couldnt say no, due to the low sales price. Will go over it... get it inspected, then either flip it or use it as a cheap daily...

hell, it would be hard for me not to hold on to it for a bit. Finding one of those unmolested is like finding a unicorn these days. IDC if its not LTX I am an automotive enthusiast.
I like the thrill of learning about a new platform. What tasteful mods are, weaknesses and strengths, how much power they hold, build quality. Etc.
Hope it's a solid machine that needs little effort. I hear of younger people offloading cars because they can't pass emissions and whatnot. Big plans and then no money to make it legal.
Well took it for a lil drive with the help of @SSlowBoat and his lady. After fighting like a million bees living in the mirror, it drives real nice.
Spoke to my friend, the mother of the kid who owned it. She told me that the garage they took it 2 wanted like 1200 to do ball joints to pass inspection and thats why it has been sitting.
I was also told that the car holds sentimental value to the boy because it used to belong to his friend that passed away.
Moral dilema... i may have different plans for it now. We will see what bluebottlez says it will take and cost to make it 100% again and I will go from there with my decision...

Didn't sound terrible. Only a little blue when it was initially warming up and u were first driving away. Prolly why it was hard to start too, bad gas and oil on plugs.Quote:
