Just a quick question I've had since I got this car last year
When I'm at WOT or even half-throttle my transmission shifts hard, even violently. I don't know if this is just how these transmissions shift, or if mine has been tuned, or if something is wrong with it. I don't have the transmission performance button, only the second gear start button
Can someone tell me if this is normal, or what they think?

Shift kit most likely? I'd be happy with it, that's just me though

How long have you had the car? Did it ever shift less aggressively? Or has it always been this way?
Any way to scan it for codes? Most of the auto trans codes don't turn on the SES light.
I thought the "2nd Gear Start" button only came with the V6 models.
Had the car since last January, and it's always behaved this way. It sounds solid, but It breaks traction through every shift at WOT
And I am happy with it, just wanted to make sure it wasnt gonna break on me lol.

Do u know if the owner had it rebuilt? I had Frank @Cahall build one for my TA and it will bark the tires goin into 2nd and 3rd (if WOT)... But I asked him to make it shift hard.Quote:

Bought it used from a dealership, so to my knowledge I don't really have a way of finding out whats all been done to it after market

Thats gonna make it difficult. I guess just make sure service is done regularly and drive it as if it was modded that way knowing that may be the truth, orrrrr it may break.
