Repainting the Trans Am
Going to the dyno didn't turn out to well, had some one pull in our lane, ended up hitting them with the driver corner of the car. Sucks it happened, but lucked out the car was fixable. It needed paint at some point but at the same time I was hoping that point was next year. Expedited the process. They began working on the car, when I get home I'll upload the pics to my photobucket. Can't out here since it's blocked.

sucks that it happend, but this looks like a great start for a bad ass paint job.

Looks like fun. Hard work is about done now

They're going above and beyond what I originally wanted, I was just going to be happy if the car was one shade of red. Those wheels are some junkers we had laying around the shop. I took the Fikses off for paint.
Jon,
Driver rear 1/4 was replaced in 2000, but not replacing them this time. They had a lot of dings on them from when the car was a daily driver in High School & College, especially the passenger panel.

looks like they got everything pretty close to smooth already. Is it going back close to the same red?
I was curious about the quarter panel cause i saw that one primered.
because i have one that i need to replace. lol

It'll go back to the stock GM bright red, the door jams were in good shape so leaving them alone. The hatch area wasn't so that will get painted. The cars been red for 22 years, may as well leave it be.
