brake pad wearing on top and sqealing when turning?

Hello all after changing my rest brake pads and rotors on both sides I am experiencing an uneven pad wear. On both sides the pads are only wearing at the top and not bottom. And when I turn left the car makes a sqealing noise which is irritating me lol. I had uneven pad wear on the driver rear where the pad on the outside was wearing more them any other pad before the brake change (which now I believe was from the ebrake being seized ). and since my ebrake was stuck and it is seized so I had to manually move it off the caliper until I can afford a new one. But what would cause the sqealing and uneven wear at the top of the rotors?

What do you mean the E-brake is seized? Is the handle or cables sticking? Did you grease the caliper pins when you changed the pads? Can you post up some pics of the uneven wear? Do you hear the pad dragging while driving?

Like Spartan7 mentioned, caliper slides. Make sure they are clean, check for wear, check all the rubber bushings for wear (I replace for piece of mind), use a synthetic brake lube and not anti-seize. Make sure they slide smoothly. Any worn parts here could cause the caliper to bind and cause uneven wear. Remember, There's a reason they make brake lubricants. Remember to put brake lube on any metal to metal contact surface. Like where the pad sits in the slide, the back side of the pad where it come in contact with caliper etc... Shims on back of pads are not enough. Can't say enough about lubing any metal to metal contact areas. If not, pads could bind and not release which could cause abnormal wear patterns. Metal to metal contact/rubbing will cause a brake noise or squeal. Hope that helps. Keep us posted.
