Pistons for nitrous
So as many as you know my trans am will be getting a fully forged bottom end just trying to figure out what cc Pistons I need and what style. The top end will feature. Trick flow 23 degree heads ported by loyed and a nasty nitrous cam. So I'm just trying to figure out what I need to stay around 11/1 or 12/1 if I'm right that's good for nitrous?

I got my pistions in last week. I went with a Manley590730-8 . These are for a 3.75 stroke with a 5.7 rod. I have been looking at pistions for 3 months and decided on these. They are 2618 alloy, heavy in the skirt and match close to the SRp pistions that came out of it(so balancing should be easier). These put my SCR around 12.5:1. I talked to Manley and they reccomeneded these for a big shot of spray. However they could be junk, Wont know till spring.

Im running cp bullet pistons in my 355. There 2618 with 1.5/1.5/3.0 rings. Top come with steel and 2nd napier. Got mine for $640 shipped to my door. Clayton racing engines told me they support 250 easy.

Pistons for nitrous
AES said that with a dragon slayer crank and forged h rods said I should run a 6 inch rods with a piston with 1/16th 1/16th 3/16th piston rings so that's all info I got out of him

So with that info what you think

I think If I were buying new rods that i would go with the 6 inch rod as well. I had mine so I reused them.
