I remember reading somewhere that a gen1 crankshaft will work in a gen 2 if the snout was modified. Anyone know what that would be? I have a forged shaft out of a 70's LT1 that I might put in my current motor, if I can.

I don't know about the snout modifications but you will need a 2 piece rear main seal adapter to run the gen 1 crank in the gen 2 block.
