My goal is 1,000 at the tire.
I decided to go with an 88mm turbo, and I was thinking a Precision. Question is, which one?
PT8847 ($2300)
PT8884 ($2700)
PT8891 ($2700)
I really don't know much about the turbos past the descriptions on Precision website. The car will be street driven mostly, so I want good mannerisms on the street.
I haven't picked out a cam yet but that's down the road.
I plan on running a large FMIC and meth injection. I want to stay on the 93 octane though as e85 is not readily available.
8847 would be a dream charger for me :lol:
Have you looked into borg worner stuff? BW S400, BW S475 etc..
From what ive heard Precision's customer service is horrible, I've seen a bunch of garret gt47-88 turbos make big power at a reasonable price. That's what I was planning on running until I happened upon a Comp 91.Quote:

I've never had any experience with precision, I think they make a good product. I'd say if you have a lot of people in your area running them with no problems then go with precision. If your only goal is 1000 rwhp go with the 8847, if you think you might want to turn it up a little bit in the future go with the 8884 or 8891.Quote:
