I'm stumped, car runs horrifyingly bad

Hey guys, ive formerly been chasing a problem with my car running rough, aggravated by a really crappy overly loose stall converter. And what should have been a happy drive home turned into a nightmare, everything is new on this car, engine, OEM plugs, wires, OEM opti, OEM 02s, same for the fuel pump all done around the time of the time the new motor was installed, Today I had a friend help me install the original converter that worked just fine before, now I'm having bad misses, backfires, the car cant go up any hills at all anymore, just flooring it makes the car sputter and backfire and raises rpms a little, I want to say my new opti is dying, but theres no codes? any help?

Plugs were pulled previously, were in good health, 41-906 delcos at .050, I have a spare coil and icm i could try.

What donfrye ia askin...Are u sure u have all the plugs wired in the proper order

It's pretty easy to screw those two up.....done it myself more than once because I'm too lazy/stubborn to put the little numbers on the wires. (Plus it looks cheesy)

You could have cracked a plug when you changed the converter so pull the boots off and check them all good a hair line crack is some times hard to see

Make sure you didn't pinch the wiring harness between the trans and engine either. I say that because I've seen it happen.

The whole job didnt just happen all at once, the car ran so so before the converter was put back. I triple checked the way the plugs were run prior to installation of the motor, ill do it again. The abs, traction enaged and traction control all flickered twice during a half hour drive home if thats related.

What kind of fuel pump and what type of connections did you use for it?
