So i´m gonna but comp cams 466-8 cam on my camaro and i have 20k driven lifters, do i need to change new ones or do they still do the job? There are no wear signs etc on them.

General consensus is to replace them with the cam no matter what; but I mixed mine all up when putting my skylarks engine back together. Everyone on here said it should be fine.
I'd you're using delco lifters then I wouldn't worry about it. I'd only change them if the rollers are scored, unevenly worn, or turn with harshness. I'm on oem lifters with a cc503, 1.6 rockers, and crane 10308-1 springs.
Stiff springs and very aggressive lobes could damage lifters but the 466 isn't extreme. Weak springs that allow valves to float can damage rollers easily when they skip down the lobes.
i have original 230+ thousand mile lifters with my hotcam....with lt4 springs, and i spin it to 6500rpm. i like to live dangerously. from what i was told if they are under 100k and in decent shape use them. no marks on them, clean, intact, etc they should be fine.
