Sway Bar Removal
Hey guys I have been reading around looking to see if removing the front sway bar is worth it for a midly stock car. Looking to run in mid to low 12s this next month and was curious if its actually worth the hassle. I have seen some say its definitely worth it and others bed to differ till you get higher horsepower. What do you guys think?

For race yes.. For street no. It cost me a bumper cover and a fender on the street once.

I am doing it but I also am more race car than street car at this point ...

I took mine off about 2 months ago. Even with the 4 inch wide wheels on the front I cant even tell that its gone. Well worth the 15 minutes it took to remove .

I had 275s up front when I went "off roading". The car tracked bad

I've read several threads where guys unbolted the ends while at the track for better weight transfer.

It helps at the track even with a mild car, don't get me wrong. I know 100% that my accident could have been less of an incident if I could have got control over the front while in the skid

Pulled mine years ago and never noticed a diff but like others I'm not into high speed corners. I think it weighs like 15-17lbs with brackets, so taking that off the front is a plus for drag racing.
