Hey guys so I hooked up my cars to a scan tool and it's throwing code 41 which means the PCM is telling the injectors to shut off.. I think I might of burnt out my PCM when I burnt out the icm. The car starts then dies.. Just out a new fuel pump in and the spark is fine nice bright blue. So does anyone know where I can get a new PCM with new proms so I can just plug it in and see if that's the problem..??
How did you burn out the icm? The factory pcms are pretty resilient so unless you were trying to do some programming and it was interrupted, I don't think your pcm is to blame.
I was driving it. And it backed fired then the icm just craped out on me I replaced it with a new one.. So I think I might of fried the PCM when I fried the icmQuote:

Did you clear the code, then recheck for codes after you installed the new ICM?
The code can set if there is a short in the harness connector. Did you check that?
Ya I checked the icm harness with a ohms reader.... I forgot which port it was in the harness but one of them is sapost to get 1-4 volts to pulse ate the injectors and it's only getting 0.8 not even a full volt so I'm guessing since it's not getting enough volts it's telling the PCM to shut off the injectorsQuote:

The white wire from the PCM to the ICM (cricuit 423) carries the pulses that tell the ICM when to fire the coil.... not the injectors. That's where you want to see 0.5 - 4.5V when using a DC meter. The code sets when the voltage exceeds 4.6V. The injectors are driven by the PCM. Read the description in the manual pages posted above - when DTC sets the PCM shuts down the injectors to prevent flooding of the engine.Quote:
