No fuel pump prime...
Need some help. Went out the other night to take my car for a spin, turned the key and I've got no fuel pump prime=no engine start. I've got power at the Hotwire on the back side of the alternator and on both sides of the inline fuse(Racetronix kit)Then I tested for power at the 40amp Racetronix relay; I got power coming into that relay,(red wire) but nothing coming out of it. So, I then checked the factory fuel pump relay, down by the drivers' footwell. Same thing, I've got power coming into that relay(red wire) but nothing coming out of it, or any other wire. I've checked all fuses in both fuse boxes and Im stumped...Anybody have any tips?

Try running the pump using the fuel pump prime connector under the hood, near the PCM. That bypasses the PCM "permit" and the stock relay.

Thanks Fred. Do i just power that prime connector with a 12v source, then with the key on?? And that SHOULD hopefully prime the fuel pump?

Ok, and if the fuel pump works, then its either the PCM or the factory fuel pump relay? What if the pump doesn't work?

If you jump it and it works, something isn't closing the relays.remember, it only primes for a second or two, shuts off, then turns on when the PCM sees rpm and running conditions. So put your meter on and have someone turn the key on, if you get nothing, something isn't closing the relay. If you get voltage, jump positive to prime connector, If nothing, bad pump.

Soon as I hit the connector with power, all I hear is a relay click, no fuel prime. Keep in mind, that Im running the Racetronix single fuel pump kit, with the Hotwire harness.(has a built-in 40amp relay in the rear near the fuel tank.)

No fuel pump prime...
I believe if the pumps good it Should still prime. @Fastbird or @Injuneer or @popo8 you guys know these kits right?

My previous set up was near identical (cant remember the brand of my 340).
How is power after that relay back by the tank?

There are three wires coming into the tank, purple, white, and black. Which wire should have power, with the key on? White?
