Long story short. I swapped a 20 bolt into my car from the junkyard. I though it was a 2.73 ratio but my speedo is all kinds of off. Not by much but by just a little aka: at 80MPH I'm really only going 73. I did the math and is it plausable that I have a rear end ratio of 2.49? is there anything close to that?

I'm no math genius, or discrediting your accomplishments but if it reports doing 80, when calibrated at 2.73 (80/2.73) then let 73/X
Also when I spun it on the stands in my garage it didn't make 3 complete turns.
If your going slower then 80 with a 2.73 cal. It will mean to have a shorter gear then a 2.73.
