What is your opinion of in-car fuel pressure gauge

I have a dual pod pillar for my Monte that I was going to run a boost and fuel pressure gauge in. They are the type that you run the 1/8" nylon tubing to. I didn't think about it when I ordered them but I suppose there are some safety concerns with running live fuel pressure into the passenger compartment. Does anyone else run a fuel pressure gauge in the car? I thought about running the tubing in copper instead but I can't find a fitting to adapt it to the gauge. Thoughts?

Really bad idea. They sell isolators so you can, turns fuel pressure into air pressure through a diaphragm I believe. Imagine the copper fatiguing or nylon breaking while driving @ 60. It would vaporize fairly easy. Random ignition source....in the cabin! Please don't lol.

I personally would never run a mechanical fuel pressure gauge in car. Sounds like a episode if "1,000 ways to die" to me.

i spent 80.00 and got a electrical gauge.

I run an electric fuel pressure gauge. I had a cowl mounted one on my DSM cause there was no way I was running a fuel line in the cabin. Just asking for trouble.

Here's an example of an autometer isolator, just need one rates for FI, they make a lower psi unit (looks the same) for carbed systems. It allows the pressure to be read without fuel coming in to the interior. Of course as mentioned, an electric gauge can be used. I just am dead set on full sweep mechanical myself lol.

I guess there popular among the WRX,EVO,Supra,350/370Z people. They get good reviews from them. My friend has a couple in his 350Z. And there real accurate.

They have different models. i went with these because i liked this look the best for my car.
