The bird has been wrecked!!!!
Found out the bird has been wrecked! So instead of sulking over it I will take the advice from our friend POPO, and vent to the LTX family. A friend who details cars was taking a look at it, and the first thing out of his mouth was "You know this thing has been wrecked before Right?" :face_shocked: "WHAT!?!?!" It wouldn't be such a big deal, but I was under the impression that it was an all original low mile 48K car. So anyway here are some picks of the evidence. You can see the uneven repair on the fender here.http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps7b959ebe.jpg Now I saw this flaw in the paint when I bought it, but I was so naïve I really said to myself " That's strange they let this roll out of the factory with that paint blemish.":doh:http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps03fbf583.jpg and some more. http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps7909cb1d.jpg http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/q...psbdb51b97.jpg None of the gaps line up. http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps00bbf316.jpg http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/q...psbd8cb832.jpg You can really see it here. http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/q...psdfb61315.jpg Trunk lid sits really high on the passenger side. http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/q...psfea29587.jpg I couldn't get a picture of it, but if you were to run your hand across the truck lid and spoiler you can feel the waves in the repair. My friend could tell the difference in paint, but I cant. Ohh well what are you going to do. Thanks for letting me vent.
