24x and 4L60?

I wanted to do a 24x conversion, but I have a 1993 with a 4L60. Does anyone know if I will be able to make it work without swapping out my 4L60 for a 4L60-E. I don’t want to do the drive by wire thing either. That will tack on another $1500 to the conversion.

im curious about this to efi told me i would need an aftermarket tcc lockup kit though

The LS1 PCM cannot control TCC lockup for a 700R4 (or 4L60) transmission. You must use an aftermarket lockup kit.

So as long it's a 4L60E the ls ecm will work?
