FS/FT: AFR 227 LT4, T&D shaftmounts, GM LT4 intake, sheetmetal valvecovers

(Don't worry Larry, I'm not departing from the LTX world) :D

I have decided to post up my top end to see if there is any interest. I’ve decided to scale back on the cubic inches (was 383, now 355) for my turbo setup and these heads are just going to be too large for my 355ci “street car”. Ideally, I would like to trade for a set of smaller AFR heads (180, 195, or possibly 210’s) in excellent condition with a set of shaftmount rockers; however, I will sell this stuff outright.

These heads are 100% fresh and ready to bolt on. They were bolted onto my engine, but never ran (hence the gasket marks on the surface). The heads were just gone through by Lloyd Elliot and set up by him. The heads are clean and bagged. The heads will accept either centerbolt or perimeter bolt valvecovers. I *believe* these are the “new” style Eliminator heads, but will confirm. They were purchased new in 2008.

Specs:
-AFR 227 CNC race port from AFR
-60cc chambers (measured by Lloyd)
-Cleaned
-Freshly milled
-BRAND NEW Manley Nextek springs (part number 22441-16) for aggressive hydraulic roller or forced induction applications (175# on seat, 440# at .600” lift)
-BRAND NEW Manley Titanium retainers
-2.10/1.60" valves
-T&D 1.6 shaftmounts (correct intake offset for AFR 227)
-All mounting hardware for T&D setup
-Custom sheetmetal valvecovers for AFR 227’s with correct ports for LT1 PCV system

Everything is in absolutely excellent condition. Lloyd even flowed the heads:

I also have a brand new GM LT4 intake manifold that was just ported by Lloyd Elliot to match these heads. The intake was opened to 58mm and has fully ported runners that match the AFR intake ports. I also have the correct AFR intake gaskets that I will include for no charge if someone buys the setup.

I am asking $2600 for the complete setup (heads, shaftmounts, LT4 intake, sheetmetal valvecovers, AFR intake gaskets). OR – trade (plus cash?) on a set of smaller AFR’s.

If I can get confirmation that the AFR 227's are part #1126 (competition), and NOT part#1076 (race ready), and that the heads are 100% in good condition with nothing needed, I believe you and I can work out a deal. Please let me know either here, or via PM and hopefully we can get a deal.

Take a picture of the outside of the cylinder head where the exhaust ports are. There should be a raised "logo" or letter "A". That will help determine if they are Eliminators.

Thanks Joel, I thought that was one of the differences between the two. These have the cast "AFR" and not the cast "A". That should make them the Eliminators, correct? My old 210's from back in 2002 had the "A" which was obviously 5 years before the Eliminators came out.
