Embarrased a customer today.

Was helping a customer at work today. And i over heard him talking to his friend. Talking about a civic in the parking lot. He said he looked up his civic nada value. And it was worth 6,000.00. And I started busting up laughing. And he looked at me. And said I have 20,000.00 in it! Then i started laughing harder. said sorry i dont mean to laugh at you. But thats what you get for buying a Civic and modding it. His friend and another customer started laughing at him. He got mad and grabed his pizza and stormed out.

The other customer looked at me and said "stupid ricer's".

The point where you said the guy said he had 20k in it had me laughing. Though I do know it is easy to put 20k into a car, if he's like the typical civic owner, I doubt he even has a quarter of that in it. Sounds like someone thinks that just because they put money in it they should get money out of it. Should have told him that he should have bought a real car in the first place and left the putt putt econo box where it belongs, in the right hand lane with grandma lol

You do know that if it says "Type R" on it anywhere then its a 10 sec. ride right?

It was a red civic hatch. slammed to the ground with some black rims. and a carbon fiber hood. And had a Honda Racing windshield banner. No joke i cant make this stuff up. I see some"special" people at my job.

What I have done in the past was to pull up next to one of these "real" hotrods roll down the window, give a thumbs up and yell Hey pull a wheelie.
Yeah thats kinda mean but I sometimes entertain myself at the expense of the dumber lot of the general public.

lol ya. I had a kid come into my job a few years back. braging about his ford probe. to a counter girl. saying he can beat any V8. and tune magazines wanted to feature him. so i went around the corner. and saw a probe with busted up ground effects and a big spoiler.

So i looked at him and said want to race my Trans Am? He said what do you got in it? I just said does it matter?... You can beat any V8. lets meet up at the track next weekend. He said i only race for money and Im busy next weekend.

He left and when he started his car a big puff of black smoke came out the 5 inch muffler. lol

Had a guy at one of the hang out nights start trying to talk shit about his RX-8. His problem, though, is that a couple of my friends and some other people had just watched him run a mid 18 at the local strip, so they shut him up pretty quick.

Here is a video of one of my friends talking shit to some punk in a 5.7 GTO who thought he was the shit. My friend Drew has a 3.8 supercharged fiero, that has since gotten much, much faster since this video was taken.

Just to give a little perspective, Drew was running 13.00 in his fiero, shortshifting the hell out of it due to a tach that was way out of wack.

I often wonder if people actually believe some of the crap that they speak
