Were the floating pins floating freely? Are the lug nuts tight?
If i knew what those were id give you an awnser, im a brake noob haha
What edsactly are the floating pins?
And yes the lug nuts are pleanty tight
They are the pins that are in the caliper bracket. The bolts that hold the caliper in thread into the pins. They should have a little rubber seal in between the pin and the bracket.

Do your pads have thin metal plates on the back side of them? Take them off, anti seize them (on both sides) and put them back on.
Yeahh, i greased them on each side when i changed pads.. i think this is a wheel/axle shaft bearing problem now, it seems the play in the axles is waaaaayyy excessive
Sounds like the brake rotor, hitting the caliper bracket, if you take it off you should see where it's been rubbing.
Yep, I bet it's the axle bearing. My fronts and rears do that when I'm due for new bearings. That happens more frequently for me because I run my car on the road course a lot.
My passenger side rear caliper rubs on hard left turns. My brakes are all new, rear axle is new, all bearings are new, everything moves freely. I turned down my proportioning valve and it got better, but it still makes noise on hard turns.
I would really like a fix for this, but I don't know how. This winter I'm planning on installing CTS-V brakes front and rear if the funds are available, but right now I don't think I will be able to afford it LOL
to my knowledge this is from worn c-clips in the rear. with the wheels on the car and tight jack the rear up and pull back and forth on the wheel and see how much play it has. Mine had about an inch of playm replaced the c-clips screeching noise on left hand turns went away for a few says but then returned. No idea how to fix it but im replacing the entire rear soon so idc. good luck.
