I torqued down the head gaskets with ARP ultra-torque and in my haste and excitement I forgot to apply thread sealer. Do I need to replace them or can I salvage them when I redo the ARP bolts? I have Mr. Gasket 0.026" gaskets on. The engine is still on the stand. Thanx.
Oh that sucks, i wouldnt re use them. Im 20 hrs into my headgasket job, wish i had just pulled the motor to do it. you dont wanna do this pita job 2 times or in the car. Im a ford guy so i installed my intake before i realized the stupid rockers are adjustable! And you want the ntake off too adjust em easier.
