Ferrari 288 GTO

I have always loved this car.

BUT I had always seen it as some dream car that was unattainable

I was looking around and I found out that you could convert a readily available 308 (on ebay for <30K) since the 288 is the race homologation version of the 308.

I found a guy who sells the Entire body in hand laid fibreglass for 13K

Man I want one so bad. I actually just found a wrecked 308 for 2K

I finally got the guts to tell my wife, and she said ANOTHER CAR??? haha

Yea they are amazing looking cars, the last 288 I saw for sale was $320,000

so having a clone for 10% of the price of the real one isnt bad. Plus its not like its a Fiero or MR2 underneath its a legit Ferrari, just with a "widebody-kit"

You dont have to tell me the bennifits of having a clone.... lol
