I was wondering if i needed them. My car sits high in the rear. I know they are a must for lowered cars BUT is there a angle that is ideal? If so i could measure the angle now and see if i actually need them. Im going to buy sfc's here soon and if i need them ill get them then. Also are weldins the only was to go for safety?
If you're not lowered, they aren't a requirement. But you can still gain some benefit from them, I've heard to the relo brackets refered to as anti squat brackets, and I can say that when my car was still stock ride height, the relocation brackets made a huge difference for the better. I'd pick up a set, the weld ins are like 50 bucks and the bolt in ones are a little more, at least the last time I looked anyways.
The thing is that mine sits higher than stock. Very 4x4 status lol i woner if you can sheck the angle like a tourq arm and if im in the better zone ill leave it and if not ill scoop some off

The general consensus is that you should run them if you are lowered. I have them on a 0.5-0.75" drop (Bilstein Level II SS Suspension)
My 4x4 ta felt a big difference with the relocators. I also did sfcs but I think the majority is the lcars. All other suspension is stock. Don't know about your pinion angle query tho.
I got some in the mail. Gonna throw them on before i head to the track with the new motor. Hope to cut atleast a 1.5 60' and get a high 11 sec pass
