383 short block, by Clayton Racing - Sounds good.
AFR 195 ported by LE - See others' comments about heads. There are better choices out there.
Blower cam by LE - I've got an LE blower cam too. Works out well so far.
stock intake porte by LE - Sounds good.
58mm TB - Sounds good.
42lb injectors - Too small, but you already know that. 60's, 72's would do.
255lph intank pump - I personally went with dual Walbro 255's in-tank. Used a hobbs switch to activate the second pump at 5psi. It's not the volume you really need, just the bump in fuel pressure to maintain.
24x conversion - Great choice. I have the 24x conversion on my setup (See my sig) and I'd never have it any other way.
PaceSetter LT headers - I'd go with a Kooks or LPP setup, but to each their own. This is a preference deal here, but try to go with a stepped header for more flow.
built 700r4/4l60 - Sounds good
12bolt w/3.42s - I'd assume you're going with a higher stall, I'd go with a higher gear as well. 3.73's are still streetable, and will help you out at the track. Mine's a street car, and I've got 3.90's in mine.
input and ideas are more then welcome. and yea i know that the D1 or F1 blowers are better, but i am trying to stay in a budget.
^^^^ LOL, didn't read that line too closely the first time around. Try to save up a bit more money, you'll kick yourself in the ass for not going with a D1. You'll start with the P1, be happy, turn it up until it's maxed out, want more, then sell the P1 for a fraction of what you paid for it, then you're further upside down on a D1 than you would be if you just went with the D1 from the beginning.
Another word from the wise, and a member of the "been there, done that" crowd:
Take that budget, and throw it out the window. You will NOT make your budget, unless you take your "pipe dream" budget, and multiply it by somewhere between 2 and 3.
Save your money, do this once, and do it right.
