Burning oil smell

After I get off the highway where I am pushing it, I cone to a stop and smell burning oil, or something that smells like burning oil. Any ideas?

Any smoke? Can you pinpoint the smell? Whens the last time you changed your oil?

No smoke and the oil was changed in December.

Could it be bad o2 sensors?:doh:

Smell is a very intangible symptom most people unfortunately can't help you with over the internet. :)

Is it a new smell? Maybe get down under the car and see if it's leaking anywhere onto any hot exhaust components, etc.

Thats my thought oil is leaking onto the exhaust. Could be the intake, VCs, dip stick. That is where I would start looking.

x2. The dip stick likes to break off the side of the block and leave 2 little holes from the bracket to leak right where the manifolds exit the heads...

ok.. well turns out that there is smoke too. I think oil is leaking anf burning on something. anyone know of common issues like this that i can check.

Smoke??? where? under hood, out the tail pipes???? where?
