My uncle gave me a suprise I didn't expect!

So my Uncle called me and asked if I wanted to drive something fun... I said ok, what kinda fun thing am I going to be driving some new heavy equipment? But proceeds to tell me just to come over.

I get there and this is what I see: Mid 80's Monte Carlo SS Tubbed with every supporting drag racing mod minus the rollcage that still has to be built with other minor Misc things.

Well we took with me driving and all I have to say is Holy Shiat this baby moves! And straight lines are rally hard to do with this thing.
So we get back and they hey threw a question at me I didn't expect.

He asked if I wanna drive this thing? I said sure of course! They he said: You don't understand, I meant do you wanna race this as my Driver?
I was speechless and I was trying to hold my gittyness inside but I couldn't, so I yell out F-YEAH.

I just couldn't believe it and I had to call the first person I know which is my lady... She was excited for me when I told her about it.

But anyways, the car does need a few more things to be able to pass inspection. There are no times for this car or Dyno numbers.

My Uncle pretty much bought the car as a complete shell and just started doing work to it.

I just can't wait to race it!:finger:

As for times, we dont know what it runs since the motor was built and dropped in... I think it might be a 468 BBC, I wasn't listening when he wa telling me whats in it because I was to excited.

NHRA Cert.? If this costs money to get it won't be coming out of my pocket. lol

I thought if you ran certain times you needed to get a racing liscense I just remember someone on ls1 talking about it and that car looks wiked fast
