recently car has been having a problem disengaging the clutch , then it would roll in 1st gear pedal on the floor , etc. i bled the system, no change... so i took the master cyl apart because i found a TON of info on the mcleod 139001 master cyl on the internet (mostly bad....) ... anyways i went to napa and got a new seal because mine was chewed up, i honed the cylinder and reinstalled everything... up to speed , the past few days ive had the master on and off like 4 times and i dont know wtf to do with it anymore. i cannot get the thing bled or something, im using a mityvac and hand pumping the slave , nothing is working, the ONLY thing i have made different so far is the new seal i got is the same 13/16ths, same inner diameter also, but it is twice as thick (see photo)...

anyways, before i burn the car down, any ideas?

also, i SWEAR when i took the thing apart the first time that the cup side of both seals faced OUTWARDS, but i found some pics on the net of the insides of this thing and i have it set just like they do which has the seals cups facing both towards the spring... any clues on that? im probably just gonna take it apart and flip the one seal around and see what happens.

Did this just start or is it something that has been going on since you put in the clutch? I had to adjust mine.
