Actually, that lineman is the only one who did what he was supposed to. It's a designed play FSU runs where the lineman don't move trying to confuse the Defense. It works from time to time but UF was ready for it and when they didn't fall for it, the other linemen tried to react. Usually the D line and a linebacker or two will just be like WTF IS HAPPENING!!?!?!?! when they run that play.

i think in the age of the internet our collegate football players are smarter than that? I mean I would never fall for some dude just standing there, to me it is not confusing. Now if they threw a 1/2 naked cheerleader on the field to stand there, I may become confused..

It works, often times some of the defense will think there has been an offsides or a false start and not be sure whats going on, or they will flip out thinking the reciever jumped the line and go running to the ref for a flag
