Anybody have any ideas of who makes a gold wheel that would fit our cars? I'm looking for something different to put on my car... the Year One 18x12 snowflakes would look sick with the gold centers but those are WAYYY too much. Definitely needs to have a lip and be able to support a 305 or wider tire in the back lol

No, That is my plan and you are not taking it. I will be the 4th gen on this site with gold wheels.

I've had this plan for years.... I'd say it comes down to whoever gets the balls and/or money to do it first buddy.

I'm 20 and in college. So it won't be until summer at the earliest. And even at that stage, I'll probably blow it all on cocaine and cheap sluts:jest:. Nothing to worry about

I hear ya, I was working full time with college but I just transferred to a university and I miss full time pay and having money to do shit , Now I feel like the typical in debt college student :metal: I was planning on using my tax return to get the wheels in my thread in the lounge, Which right after I posted that you posted this thread and I was like wtf nah thats my idea lol

Oh, i didn't even see that thread. I don't really check out the lounge that much. Definitely need some bigger wheels than that on there though. 18's would look sick with a low pro tire.

I dunno about gold with a polished lip.. Just doesn't sound like a good combo.

those wouldnt be bad.Think they would look better one a white or black car. but if you feel like you HAVE to get gold wheels, i think these would be your best choice.

Gold wheels just arent for me...

I just need something different for me to keep interest in the car. I'm sick of polishing TTII's when they look like crap a week later.. and clearcoating them would cost money, so I figured I'd just save my money and look for something different.

Some people think gold wheels are ricey.. maybe if they're like bling ass chrome gold...

what if you powdercoat the spokes on your TT2's gold?

That's not a bad idea... but I dont know if the spoke design would go great with it. I'm thinking more of a flat faced center with sort of an HP evo-esque design. Kinda like what I posted up there. I saw the YearOne wheels that came in 18x12 :claps: but it was like 4000 for just the wheels. What a fuckin joke.

It can go either way. I think it all depends on the style of the rim. The one on the camaro isnt bad.

Looked just like that. tinted windows and everything. Pretty sure the story was the kids grandfather had it and put it in a shed somewhere and he just got it not too long ago. it looked so good.
