Do you think I have any chance at winning with my 95 Z28 in my sig (more specific details, 15#'s of boost, meth injection, fully ported AFR 180 heads, fully built 383 LT1 with all the supporting mods, 3.73's, stock M6 with SPEC stage 3 clutch, Moser 12 bolt, full suspension, no good track times) 614 RWHP

vs

2000 Z28, MTI 382 (fully forged), AFR 225 heads, custom cam, FAST 90/90, Vigilante 3800 converter with a fully built 4L60 E, Nitrous Express 200 shot with NANO, all supporting mods. This car went low 10's when it was a 175 shot without the NANO. No new times with the NANO and the 200 shot. No dyno numbers.
The race would take place at a low MPH roll (10-20 MPH).
Does anyone think I might have a chance?

NANO is a nitrous system. Not positive how it works.. but from what I get out of it.. it gives you the best shot of nitrous throughout the entire bottle.. somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

We each had a passenger. His car previously going low 10's on the smaller shot without the NANO, I didn't think I had any chance in Hell (granted he is a stalled auto and we ran from a roll each time). Technically, from the 1/4 I had him beat both times. However, as you can easily see, his top end is faster than mine. By the time he passed me in run# 2 we were WAY past the 1/4 mile point, but we both stayed in it since it was close.

I believe you are correct. It presurizes the bottle differently than a bottle heater giving you full potential from full to empty (I believe).

You guys are right on the Nano system...keeps the nitrous bottle pressurized without the need for a heater. So a quick search on it...or Ray will chime in before long:)

wow that was badass. I figured it would be close, as that lsx whith the shot should be in the 650-700whp area pretty easy. Good job driving that M6 thats for sure, i need to get my boost up!

How long do those 3.73's stretch out? And what size tire? My 5th gear might get me to 130 with the 4.10s. Probably damn near 6 grand though.

I wound it out to almost 6,400 RPM in 5th, with 3.73's and 305/35ZR18's that would be 182. There was a bike behind us doing 180 and he said we were long gone.

Unless the bike had a healer, he probably wasn't going as fast as the bike indicated. But doing 180 in a Camaro would be F'n insane!

NANO is a sytem used with Nitrous that gives you constant pressure (similar to a bottle heater) so you have the same bottle pressure when the bottle is full as you do when it is nearly empty.

I've always enjoyed doing the high speed stuff. I did 150 all the time back in the day I just had bolt ons.
