Ok so any one that knows me knows that i never post pictures of my car..
1) Because i think it needs alot of work
2) Well i get alot of mixed reviews
3) and just to let you know the hood is for sale and i'll be getting a cowl very soon
But here are some pics that start from about 4 years ago to my engine pull, to some of the custom body work and than to how she sits now..

Those wheels where a nightmare to get them how i wanted.. Origianally they were the silver powder coat from GM, so polished the face with some help and then painted the inside gloss black with a final clear coat over the entire wheel so i down have to keep polishing...

the ones i'm getting are the argent ones, i was curious about how you got yours to look like that, was it really that big of a process or just a pita to do?

Both lol.. To get the powder coating off is no joke and i kinda screwed up but the easiest way is to go get some air craft stripper 2 and do one wheel at a time.. It will bring the powder coating up and make it easier to start to polish or leave as the machine face but not smooth.. If you try to polish the face you will be at it for a while unless you take it to a polisher.. Then i sanded the inside smooth (didn't really try to get the powder coat off) and tapped the face off carefully and painted the insides black.. Let them cure and spray clear.. That way you just need to wipe the dust off rather then try to keep polishing them..
Hope this helps a little..

that helps alot, i've never gone as far as using the aircraft paint stripper or anything, so this will be a first for me...
do you think if you used the paint stripper on the inside it would have made for easier sanding? and also what paint did you use? a spray bomb or did you get some base/clear mixed up?

if you use it on the inside it will help alot i bet i just decided that i was only polishing the face that i would leave the inside alone.. Make sure to use the stripper out side and with gloves and a brush and use a scrapper to get it off... i went to autozone cause they had a gloss black already mixed in a paint can that was enough to do all for and they also had the clear to match.. You could use rattle can as long as you take your time with prep and evenly spraying your fine...

I don't like it man, but it's not my car so who cares. Did you make the berger panel that color on purpose? A cowl should clean it up a lot, I've never liked the ws6 hood on camaros.

LOL ok the rear panel is waiting for paint since it is now smooth and in primer, the ram air hood is being sold and not on the car any more waiting for a cowl, the fog lights have been taken out since the dealer is the one that put them in..
