First off, this setup is nowhere near optimized. Cam spec'd for a single plane and 250 shot. Also had a little miscommunication with Bret Bauer about where I should've installed my valvesprings, so the power fell off (valve float) at only 5600 rpm.

Specs:

388ci
12.5 scr
Ported AFR 210s, 320cfm at .600
Ported LT4 intake
Bauer HR Cam 24x/25x .620ish 107lsa
58mm TB
Pacesetter LTs w/ 3" Y
4" single with 2 vibrant bullets and 1 hooker maxflo
Stock 6sp, mcleod bell, spec stage V clutch
PST ds
Moser 9" w/ 4.11s

Numbers....

439rwhp at 5400 rpm :(
450rwtq 4400-4800 rpm

I don't have a graph sorry guys, gonna swap valvesprings tomorrow morning at hit the local 1/8 mile in the evening. Then redyno tune the beast in the next week or two with a 150 shot. Oh btw, the new MSD 6AL-2 Programmable box was worth 2 ft lbs and .4 hp over a stock setup.

Hmm, I would have expected a little better numbers from this setup. Who cares take it to the tack when you change the valvesprings and see what she traps. That will tell you were you are power wise.

its still got another 1200-1300 rpm before peak, so i'm not stressing the low hp number right now.

It made 400 rwtq at only 2800 rpm

That is a ton of power for only spinning it to 5600rpm. Bret knows his shit, and he'll help you out. Should be close to 500 at the wheels, which is crazy for an N/A LT1.

Very nice. I'm sure you'll be even happier with the spring issue worked out.

springs are in, screams to 7200 now. I'll have new dyno numbers with a 150 shot on thursday or friday. need to wait for my 35 spline spool setup before heading to the track, I need to sell my truetrac first. Stepping up to 4.30s for a little better gearing NA, but will still be good to 145ish on spray.
